"AN ARTIST WITH A CAMERA/CHARLOTTE, NC"
I've always considered myself an artist first. Long before I picked up a camera professionally, I spent more than 20 years as a graphic and web designer and over a decade working in the print industry. Those experiences shaped the way I see light, color, composition, and storytelling. Along the way, I had the opportunity to work with clients throughout New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida, North Carolina, Washington, California, and my hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina.
In 2015, I followed a passion that had been growing for years and stepped fully behind the camera. What began as a creative pursuit quickly became a career centered around people, connection, and authentic storytelling. I've been honored to serve as the official photographer for organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters, Operation Warm, the Beagle Freedom Project, Classroom Central, and many others. Some of my favorite moments come from teaching photography and mentoring other photographers. I believe knowledge is meant to be shared, and I'm a firm believer in paying it forward whenever I can.
Over the years, my work has been published, recognized with awards, and featured in magazines including *Shutter*, *Ryze-Up*, *Captured*, and others. My photography is also licensed through Getty Images, iStock, and Adobe Stock, allowing my images to reach audiences around the world.
Beyond photography, giving back has always been an important part of who I am. I've proudly supported St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as a Partner in Hope for more than 13 years and am also a Guardian for the ASPCA. Using my time, my resources, and my photography to support causes that make a difference is something I'll always be passionate about.
At the end of the day, I don't just want to create beautiful photographs—I want to create images that tell stories, preserve moments, and leave a lasting impression.
